Project Summary

True Balance Rolfing®, located in the town of Ross in Marin County, has been open for more than 10 years, has an established client base, and wanted to grow. The focus of this project was a new website design, branding, and SEO, with the goal of upgrading the look of Rolfer® Aline Wachsmuth’s established business in Marin.

SEO was also an important part of this project, because her business was still showing on Google as located in the wrong town, years after she had moved the location of it. Aline had never had a logo, so branding was also a key element of this project. I developed a brand color palette and a new logo that uses sacred geometry.

Since Aline is also a professional dancer, movement is integral to her work as a Rolfer and dancer. A video background for her home page helps to convey the message that Rolfing supports natural, fluid, movement, free from restrictions. I also added subtle movement by developing some custom code that slowly changes gradient background colors in some sections. She’s gotten a lot of compliments on the her website and branding, and her business is on the rise.
